The students of Polo Manetti Porciatti win the regional Badminton title in the student category in Arezzo.

After winning their group, in the final, they beat their colleagues from the "Pesenti" team of Pisa, not conceding even a point (2 to 0 for the two singles as well as the doubles) obtaining a round of three to zero.

Badminton is one of the fastest racket sports and therefore physical prowess, agility and quick reflexes are necessary. The effect is spectacular with rapid exchanges, changes in front and lively recoveries. “I thank our students for the good result achieved - comments the head teacher Claudio Simoni - and their teachers including Professor Mario Busonero who has been working for years with more than satisfactory results in this and other student disciplines.”

“The team - explains Professor Busonero, who can boast a history at a national level in this sport - offered a performance of the highest level, as evidenced by the final result achieved. Now the doors of the Italian championships have opened for our boys, from 23 to 26 May in Folgaria in the province of Trento, to which, I am convinced, we will have a lot to say."

The team of students from the Manetti Porciatti Technological Center is made up of Niccolò Bragagni, David Corridori, Daniel Dell'Omodarme, Filippo Peter Pieri, Samuele Ducci and Mirko Mazzoni.
