Polo Manetti Porciatti at the State Police party

On April 13th the 4EN class of the Mechanics, Mechatronics and Energy course of the Manetti Porciatti Technological Center participated in the 171st anniversary of the birth of the State Police.
The event was attended by the highest civil and military authorities; in particular, the Police Commissioner Dr. Antonio Mannoni, the Prefect Dr. Paola Berardino, the Mayor Antonfrancesco Vivarelli Colonna, the delegation with the banner of the Municipality of Monte Argentario and Massa Marittima, the Provincial Commander of the Carabinieri Colonel Giuseppe Adinolfi were present , the provincial commander of the Guardia di Finanza Colonel Nicola Piccinni, the commander of the 4th Wing Colonel Filippo Monti.
The event took place at the Teatro degli Industri and saw the participation of the Puccini Choir and a delegation from the Liceo Musicale Polo Bianciardi who played Mameli's anthem and Giuseppe Verdi's "Va' pensiero".
The students showed a keen interest in the State Police, especially during the video that was shown which summarized the history and activities in which it is employed. The President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella and the Minister of the Interior Matteo Piantedosi sent their greetings to celebrate the weapon. Furthermore, the message from the Chief of Police Lamberto Giannini was read and three students from the Porto Santo Stefano Comprehensive Institute were awarded, winners of the "We demand legality" competition organized by the State Police.
At the end, honors and commendations were awarded to the managers, inspectors and agents for their efforts to combat the activity of organized crime.
