Diplomas awarded to students who participated in the IGCSE course

17 Computer Science and Telecommunications students have received diplomas for the IGCSE Computer Science exam, the famous Cambridge exam capable of helping students develop an interest in computational thinking and an understanding of the principles of problem solving using the computers.

And among the magnificent seventeen there were also those, like Gregorio Pescucci, who obtained top marks.

“Most of these young people   - explained Professor Sabrina Giuliano - they followed the Web Specialist path, preparing to become IT technicians of international level. Thanks to the CLIL methodology, they have acquired not only technical skills, but also mastery of English, essential in the global technological world. Path   - continues the teacher - it allowed them to create computer-based solutions to problems using algorithms and a high-level programming language and a set of technical skills and the ability to effectively test and evaluate computer solutions.”

The head teacher, Claudio Simoni, also underlined how the Technological Center today offers a solid opportunity for those who aspire to a career in the IT sector. “The course - commented the manager - also made it possible to help our students appreciate current and emerging information technologies, the advantages of their use and to recognize their potential risks. For this reason I congratulated the students for the commitment they showed. Today is a day of celebration and bright prospects for these talented young people."
