First place for the Technological Pole in the alternation stories of the chamber of commerce

The students of the Manetti Porciatti Technological Center win the first prize of the Chamber of Commerce project Stories of alternation and skills, now in its sixth edition, with "Comfortably from home, but aware".

Prize that will allow the school to receive 500 euros. The call, promoted by Unioncamere in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, saw the students of the 4AIA class of the IT department try their hand at it and, under the supervision of professors Luisa Guerrini and Simone Pizzinelli, they created and shot a video in which they recounted the alternation experience in which the entire Manetti Porciatti Polo participated last year, within the Saper(e)Consumare project promoted and financed by the Ministry of Business and Made in Italy, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Merit, to educate and raise awareness of young people and adults about sustainable and responsible consumption. The prize was awarded at a local level in the category of Technical and Professional Institutes for PCTO courses, 1st level apprenticeships and strengthened alternation. The awards ceremony will take place next Thursday at Job&Orienta 2023 in Verona, the exhibition dedicated to School, Training and Work Orientation, and will include the awarding of a check worth 500 euros.

“This school continues to amaze with the enormous experiential wealth it brings to its students - is the comment of the head teacher, Claudio Simoni - and the opportunities created for them. In this case “Stories of alternation and skills” allowed them to carry out processes of individual growth and orientation to the world of work.”
